Air-operated diaphragm pumps

  • Chemical Industry
  • Food Industry
  • Ceramic Industry
  • Tanning Industry
  • Pharmaceuticals Industry

Main features

  • Vivaldo pumps can run dry without
    suffering wear or mechanical failure.
  • They have no seals.
  • They are self-priming , air operated, and flameproof.
  • These are pumps capable of transferring liquids with solids in suspension (particle size depends on pump model), and
medium to high density fluids even of abrasive character.

  • Chemical and petrochemical processes
  • Varnishes
  • Inks and resins
  • Solvent recovery
  • Sludge transfer
  • Water purification
  • Food and pharmaceuticals industry
  • Mining
  • Ceramic
  • Tanning and galvanizing

Parts in contact with pumped liquid

  • Polypropylene
  • Kynar (PVDF)
  • Nylon
  • Aluminium
  • Stainless steel (AISI 316)

Diaphragm materials

  • Santoprene (EPDM)
  • Geolast (Buna)
  • Teflon

Unstallable air valve

This pump is designed in such a way that the cycle will not be interrupted. The air supply requires no lubrication, and the pump can be controlled simply by opening and closing the discharge outlet.

N.B.: Consult our engineering department when selecting the pump and the type of construction suitable for transferring a given product, so as to avoid mechanical failure or incompatibility of materials.

Central body

Constructed entirely in polypropylene and nylon, unaffected by oxidation from damp air and resistant to aggressive liquids even in the event of diaphragm failure.
